The Cache

Based on traditional utility ditty bags, The Cache features a classic drawstring closure that expands or compresses to accommodate awkward or bulky gear, making it ideal for everyday durability.

Each bag is handcrafted from start to finish in Scotland using salvaged textiles and repurposed components, from the secondhand hardware sourced via Vinted to the vintage sewing thread passed down through generations. The weather-resistant waxed cotton exterior is sourced either from the Remake recycling centre in Crieff or from the deadstock of other creative practitioners. Much of this premium cloth originates from Halley Stevensons in Dundee, a mill world-renowned for its heritage weatherproofing. The interior is lined with high-quality cotton sourced from local charity shops like Cancer Research, Blythswood, and Strathcarron Hospice.

Product Care & Ageing

• •Highly durable and designed for outdoor use, the waxed cotton will naturally soften and develop a beautiful character unique to your journeys. To clean off mud or dirt, simply rinse or wipe with a damp cloth using cold water only, then allow the bag to air dry naturally. Do not use soap, detergents, heat, or hot water.
