The Apex Roll-Top

The Apex Roll-Top is a straightforward, functional utility bag built to handle the elements without using new manufacturing resources. A roll-top design ensures reliable closure by relying on structural folds rather than complex hardware that can wear out over time.

Each bag is handcrafted in small batches in Scotland using weather-resistant waxed cotton, rescued either from the Remake recycling centre in Crieff or from the deadstock of other creative practitioners. Much of this premium cloth originates from Halley Stevensons in Dundee, a mill world-renowned for its heritage weatherproofing. To keep the production entirely circular, the bags are constructed using sturdy hardware sourced secondhand via Vinted and vintage sewing thread passed down through generations.
